About Me
Hi there! My name is Misty. I am mom to four children ranging in age from 14 to 8. I am very happily married to my wonderful husband for 13 years.
I have been involved in/interested in photography for most of my life. I specifically remember posing my brother and sister when I was around 10 years old and taking pictures of them with my moms 35mm film point and shoot camera. The older I got, the more interested in Photography I got. I have now been involved in photography for about 15 years and officially in business for about 8 years.In the summer of 2008, my husband got a job offer in a sweet little town in Western Colorado. Both my husband and I were born and raised in Oklahoma. In July of 2008, my husband and I loaded up our 4 children, 2 dogs, 1 cat and dozen fish and made a 1000 mile move to Western Colorado. We have now been here just over a year and enjoy it here so much. Not to mention the BEAUTIFUL backdrops that are natural here!!
I have done just about any kind of photography you can think of. I love taking pictures of that big ole expanding maternity belly as well as those tiny little toes of that precious new bundle of joy. An engaged, in love, couple is also a blast to take pictures of. I have been very involved in sport photography, not ACTION type sports, but team pictures and individual pictures. I have done many different types of teams and enjoy them all. My only exception to loving ALL photography is that I choose not to do weddings. I am very picky and stress out very easily and I just do not see myself enjoyinig wedding photography.
